Well, how do you become a doctor in the UK?
Getting into medical school is not easy and many candidates who fail to get a place often let themselves down due to simple mistakes.
There are many steps to getting shortlisted and universities often modify the criteria depending on whether you are applying at undergraduate level, are re-sitting A-levels or entering as a postgraduate (graduate entry programme). We understand that everyone is different and the small groupwork allows us to focus on your needs.
Universities look at many proxies when deciding who to offer places to such as the intellect of the student (UKCAT exam or UK Clinical Aptitude Test and predicted grades), are they team players (UCAS personal statement) and can they communicate? (the interview). We will explain how some universities shortlist candidates and what to do once short-listed.
Students need to think about which universities they wish to choose and what type of course to apply for. Do you go for the traditional courses or consider PBL (Problem Based Learning)
